Welcome to Ocellaris

Our mission is to facilitate R&D collaboration between academic research laboratories and businesses.

The R&D collaboration search process requires identifying synergies between the expertise of laboratories and the needs of companies' R&D teams. Our solution is an AI platform based on knowledge twin technology. A user from a laboratory or an industrial partner can connect to our platform and build their own knowledge twin, representing their respective expertise and interests. A knowledge twin is initiated from scientific articles, patents, or ideas. These knowledge twins interact to identify potential partners and interdisciplinary synergies.

Alternative solutions such as industrial collaboration networks, technology scouting intermediary services, and LLMs are not optimized for identifying and facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations. We tested our approach with free tools that maps and visualizes interactions across different areas of expertise (citationgraph.org, citationtree.org). These already have over 100 daily users, including many leading European research centers. We have just launched our commercial version (ocellaris.net), based on an innovative business model, and are currently expanding our user base.

It is critical that research laboratories and industry in Europe have access to a European service for connecting and developing interdisciplinary R&D collaborations based on the latest AI technologies.
